Becoming a Friend of Hoppers

Everyone needs friends so we're asking you to join us in a deeper connection and commitment.

We pride ourselves on being a good friend and will keep you informed and give you chances to get involved; only if you want to. So come on in and be our mate!

What you are supporting

We provide weekend and midweek breaks for those that really need some time away from struggling to live on low incomes in the inner city. Many families and individual that use Hoppers are never in a position to get a break as there is never sufficient money and often going away may mean just another lonely prospect as there is no one to go with.

Hoppers provides through community groups and churches, a stay in our enchanting holiday cottage with experienced community holiday workers to assist and work alongside group leaders. It is often said ‘we came away as a group of people and are going home a family’.

Friendships and self supporting networks are forged which carry on back home providing extended support.

Your contribution however small will help those we serve; making a positive difference to the lives of struggling families and individuals.
