Welcome to the enchanted
world of Hoppers. The building has stood for 400 years set among the hop
fields of Kent, in the village of Five Oak Green near Tonbridge.
Originally it was a row of farm cottages. It is now comfortably furnished
to provide a bolt-hole for use by churches and charities operating in East London.
It is frequently used for youth groups, community
projects and church retreats.
Hoppers' consists of
- Two houses connected by a
Kitchen/Dining Room
- Private rear courtyard and garden
- The Main House has 12 beds and the ground floor is fully accessible by wheelchairs (including one
bedroom).
- The Cottage has 6 beds (plus 2 chair beds).
- The houses may be booked as a
self-contained units or used together.
